B.A. Cultural and Social Anthropology

Subject advior Dr. Michaela Haug answers your questions concerning the B.A. program. In the 4th semester, we recommend that our bachelor's students agree on an appointment with the study advisory in order to clarify specific questions concerning the second half of the study program and the B.A. thesis.

M.A. Culture & Environment in Africa (CEA)

Subject advisor for the M.A. Program Culture & Environment in Africa (CEA) is Christiane Naumann, M.A.

Subject-Specific KLIPS Consultation Hours

  • Recognition of external achievements in KLIPS (these must be confirmed in advance with a seal by the subject advisors; see Subject Guidance).
  • Subsequent recording and adjustment of achievements in KLIPS (requires submission of original certificates).

Professional Practice

Under the B.A. program, acquiring profession-oriented work experience through internships is part of the elective modul on ethnological knowledge in research and professional practice ("Ergänzungsmodul – Ethnologisches Wissen in der Forschungs- und Berufspraxis"). If you are a master student of cultural and social anthropology, a professional internship is a voluntary, self-organized achievement. Christiane Naumann, M.A. supervises the internships.
