NO MORE WAR

We like to set a sign in these days of turmoil and to express our solidarity with our colleagues, friends and the whole population of Ukraine and all other parts of the world, which are at war right now.

We want to appeal to all rulers and potentates to finally understand that in our modern times with global challenges - which can only be solved by all human beings staying and acting united to keep our plant habitable - territorial claims are even less timely than ever before.

Let us all join forces and capabilities to make the world a place worth living for all.

Solidarity With Ukraine

News

Dear Students of Social and Cultural Anthropology (SCA),

The University of Cologne expects that  face-to-face teaching will be possible throughout the winter semester 2022/23. The precondition for this is, of course, that this is permitted by the pandemic situation and the legal requirements.

In addition, alternative scenarios are being prepared so that, should it be necessary, we can react flexibly to the respective situation and thereby realise as much face-to-face teaching as possible.

In case of pandemic restrictions, however, there will be no hybrid forms of teaching (i.e. classromm teaching with parallel online streaming) in S&C Anthropology, but instead either face-to-face with limited participation or online teaching.

In addition, please note:

If, due to the sequence of in-person and digital courses, you are in need of lounges and workstations to bridge gaps in the schedule or to participate in digital events that take place immediately before or after face-to-face courses, you can find an overview of the available rooms on the Corona information page:

In view of the current dynamic development of the infection situation, the UoC will regularly review the existing restrictions and appropriate adjustments and measures will be communicated via the central website

https://portal.uni-koeln.de/en/coronavirus.

We would like to ask you to check it regularly, preferably daily.
