Call for Application: Deadline January 23, 2023
Between 6 February and 31 March 2023, sixty multidisciplinary postgraduate students and doctoral candidates will collaboratively investigate one of three overlapping themes that affect global well-being. Students participating in this Small Private Online Course (SPOC) will work in small groups according to an individualised schedule.
10 participants representing each of the three EUniWell universities of Birmingham, Cologne and Leiden, and three partnering African-based Universities of Mohammed V Rabat, Nairobi and Western Cape will use collective case studies to explore how well-being relates to the decolonisation agenda. Exploring the role of intersectionality, knowledge and the environment for Global Well Being, a specific emphasis will be put on finding forms of exchange that guard against extractive or ‘parachute science’ between the Global North and South.
Further information about the SPOC can be found in the Info Sheet (download see below).
If you are interested to participate, enrolled as a Master or PhD student at any of the participating universities and can afford investing approximately 6.5 to 8 hours per week for synchronous and asynchronous course work, please complete and submit the Application Form until January 23 2023.
